Jeep Maintenance Schedule Intervals

Monthly

• Check the exterior and interior lights
• Check tire pressure
• Check fluid levels (engine oil, windshield washer fluid, brake fluid, coolant levels, etc.)
• If you’re due for an oil change: replace the filter, rotate the tires, and inspect the exhaust, battery terminals, brake pads, and door latches

20,000 miles

• Replace the air conditioning or cabin air filter
• Inspect the brake linings, front and rear axle fluid, tie rod ends, front suspension, and universal joints

30,000 miles

• Change the manual transmission fluid if the vehicle is used for off-roading, policing, taxi servicing, heavy loading, snow plowing, trailer towing, etc.
• Replace the engine air cleaner filter
• Inspect the case fluid and transferring fluid

40,000 miles

• Change the front and rear axle fluid if used in any of the above situations (snow plowing, trailer towing, etc.)
• Perform the 20,000-mile inspections and replacements

60,000 miles

• Replace transfer case fluid if the vehicle is used for frequent towing, fleet, taxi, or police purposes
• Perform the 20,000 and 30,000-mile inspections and replacements
• Replace the spark plugs (if applicable) 
• Change the manual transmission fluid if used in any of the above situations

100,000 miles

• Inspect and replace the PCV valve
• Flush and replace the engine, intercooler, battery, and Motor Generator Unit coolant if needed (if not needed, MUST be done at 150,000 miles)
• Replace the spark plugs (if not already replaced)
• Perform the 20,000-mile inspections and replacements
